Garlic Soy Glazed Bok Choy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fresh Produce

01 - 4 baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
02 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1 green onion, chopped for garnish

→ Sauce Ingredients

04 - 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon honey
06 - 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
07 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

→ Oil & Seasonings

08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
09 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
10 - Salt and fresh black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your pan over medium-high heat with olive oil. Place bok choy halves cut-side down and let them sear for 2-3 minutes until they're golden brown and tender.
02 - Flip your bok choy over, scatter in the minced garlic, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring now and then so the garlic doesn't burn.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.
04 - Pour your sauce into the pan and let it bubble away for 1-2 minutes, coating the bok choy as it reduces slightly.
05 - Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve while hot and saucy.

# Notes:

01 - Add red pepper flakes or sriracha if you like it spicy
02 - Make it vegan by using maple syrup instead of honey
03 - Turn it into a meal by adding tofu, shrimp, or chicken
