Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

# Ingredients:

2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling.

1/2 teaspoon almond extract, optional.

1 box (15.25 oz) devil's food cake mix.

3/4 cup unsalted butter, thinly sliced.
# Instructions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.

Stir almond extract into pie filling if using. Spread cherry mixture in pan.

Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over cherries. Layer thin butter slices on top.

Cook 45-50 minutes until top is baked and filling bubbles in center.
