Sweet Asian Style Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Canned pineapple juice
02 - Light brown sugar
03 - Rice vinegar
04 - Ketchup
05 - Soy sauce or tamari

→ Thickener

06 - Cornstarch
07 - Water

→ Optional

08 - Natural red food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - Mix all ingredients except cornstarch slurry in saucepan
02 - Bring to boil, add slurry, simmer until thick
03 - Add food coloring if using, cool completely

# Notes:

01 - Use canned not fresh pineapple juice
02 - Keeps 2-3 weeks in fridge
03 - Sugar alternatives work well
