Canned pineapple juice

Light brown sugar

Rice vinegar

Ketchup

Soy sauce or tamari
→ Thickener

Cornstarch

Water
→ Optional

Natural red food coloring
# Instructions:

Mix all ingredients except cornstarch slurry in saucepan
02 -
Bring to boil, add slurry, simmer until thick

Add food coloring if using, cool completely

Use canned not fresh pineapple juice

Keeps 2-3 weeks in fridge
