British Banoffee Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 14 oz sweetened condensed milk.
02 - 300g digestive biscuits.
03 - 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
04 - 140g unsalted butter, melted.
05 - 3 medium bananas, sliced.
06 - 2 cups heavy cream.
07 - 2 oz dark chocolate for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Simmer sealed condensed milk can in water for 4 hours, keep fully covered.
02 - Let can cool in water 1 hour until room temperature.
03 - Crush biscuits, mix with butter and salt, press in pan and bake until golden.
04 - Beat heavy cream until medium peaks form.
05 - Fill crust with caramel, top with bananas and whipped cream.
06 - Shave warmed chocolate over top if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Can make crust and caramel ahead.
02 - Add cream just before serving.
03 - Keeps 3 days in fridge.
