# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 180 g almond flour
02 - 1 tablespoon (12 g) baking powder
03 - 0.25 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt
04 - 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 60 g cream cheese
06 - 1 large egg

→ Filling

07 - 80 g diced ham
08 - 60 g shredded cheddar cheese
09 - 0.25 teaspoon (0.75 g) garlic powder
10 - 0.25 teaspoon (0.75 g) onion powder

→ For Baking

11 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 190°C (375°F) and allow it to preheat fully.
02 - Combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until both cheeses are fully melted and smoothly combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly distributed.
04 - Add the dry ingredients and egg to the melted cheese mixture. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms.
05 - Divide the dough into four equal portions. Roll each into a circle approximately 15 cm in diameter on parchment paper.
06 - In a small bowl, mix diced ham, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly combined.
07 - Spoon the ham and cheese filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a small border. Fold dough over filling to form half-moon shapes and firmly press edges to seal.
08 - Lightly brush the tops of the assembled calzones with olive oil for a golden, crisp finish.
09 - Transfer calzones to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and crisp.
10 - Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

# Notes:

01 - For additional variety, substitute ham with cooked bacon or turkey or incorporate sautéed spinach or mushrooms into the filling.
02 - Allowing diners to select their preferred fillings personalizes the meal and encourages family involvement in meal preparation.
03 - A side of marinara sauce enhances flavor and provides a tangy complement to the rich filling.
