White Texas Sheet Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 2 cups sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
05 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
06 - 1 cup unsalted butter.
07 - 1 cup water.
08 - 2 large eggs.
09 - 2/3 cup sour cream.
10 - 1 teaspoon almond extract.
11 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter (frosting).
12 - 1/2 cup whole milk (frosting).
13 - 5 cups confectioners sugar (frosting).
14 - 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (frosting).
15 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (frosting).
16 - Walnuts or sprinkles for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F and spray 15x10 pan with baking spray.
02 - Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
03 - Boil butter and water, stir into flour mixture.
04 - Mix in eggs, sour cream and almond extract until smooth.
05 - Spread in pan and bake 18-22 minutes until golden.
06 - Boil butter and milk, stir in sugar and flavorings, spread over warm cake.

# Notes:

01 - Frost while cake is warm.
02 - Can add nuts to frosting.
