Microwave 1/2 cup cream with chocolate chips for 2 minutes at 50% power until melted. Let cool to room temperature.

Beat remaining 1 1/2 cups cream in chilled bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.

Gently fold cooled chocolate mixture into whipped cream until fully incorporated.

Divide into serving dishes, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.
