Tomatillo Avocado Salsa (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 fresh tomatillos, husked and rinsed.
02 - 1 serrano pepper.
03 - 1 jalapeƱo pepper.
04 - 1 garlic clove.
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
06 - 1/4 cup cilantro leaves.
07 - 1 small lime, juiced.
08 - 1/8 teaspoon cumin.
09 - 2 medium ripe avocados.
10 - 1 medium white onion, chopped.
11 - Sea salt to taste.
12 - Black pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Position rack 5-7 inches from broiler, preheat high.
02 - Halve tomatillos.
03 - Place tomatillos, peppers, garlic on foiled sheet. Drizzle with oil and salt.
04 - Broil 5 minutes per side until charred.
05 - Place peppers in plastic bag to steam 10 minutes. Remove pepper skins.
06 - Blend tomatillos, peppers, garlic, cilantro, lime, cumin.
07 - Add avocados and onion, then blend until smooth.
08 - Season with salt and pepper.

# Notes:

01 - Remove pepper seeds for milder version.
02 - Store in refrigerator up to 3 days.
03 - Use fresh, firm tomatillos.
