Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak

01 - 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bites
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
09 - 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

→ Smashed Potatoes

10 - 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes
11 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
14 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
15 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
16 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
17 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
18 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
19 - 1 tablespoon chopped chives

# Instructions:

01 - Boil potatoes until tender. Smash on baking sheet, season with oil, butter and spices.
02 - Roast at 425°F for 20 minutes, add cheese and bake 5-7 minutes more.
03 - Sear steak bites in batches. Make garlic butter sauce, return steak to coat.
04 - Garnish steak with parsley and potatoes with chives. Serve hot.

01 - Can add red pepper flakes for heat
02 - Try different cheese combinations
03 - Fresh herbs add extra flavor
