Starbucks Lemon Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder.
03 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
05 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature.
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
07 - 2 large eggs, room temperature.
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
09 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
10 - 1/2 cup buttermilk.
11 - 1/4 cup lemon juice (for syrup).
12 - 3 tablespoons powdered sugar (for syrup).
13 - 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted (for icing).
14 - 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (for icing).
15 - 1 tablespoon milk (for icing).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 5x9" loaf pan.
02 - Mix flour, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt.
03 - Cream butter and sugar with mixer until fluffy (4-6 minutes).
04 - Beat in eggs one at a time.
05 - Add vanilla and lemon juice, beating until combined.
06 - Add flour mix and buttermilk alternately in thirds.
07 - Pour batter in pan.
08 - Bake 45-55 minutes until golden and toothpick comes clean.
09 - Cool 15 minutes in pan.
10 - Mix lemon juice and powdered sugar for syrup.
11 - Remove cake from pan onto cooling rack and brush syrup over warm cake.
12 - Mix all icing ingredients until thick.
13 - Pour over cooled cake and let icing set before serving.
