Spaghetti with Garlic and Oil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 400 g Spaghetti
02 - 4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
03 - 6 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
04 - ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
05 - ¼ cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
06 - Salt for the pasta water

→ Optional

07 - Grated Parmesan Cheese for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water before draining.
02 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic slices and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Stir in red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Avoid burning the garlic.
03 - Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic and oil mixture. Toss to coat thoroughly. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the mixture seems dry.
04 - Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Toss everything together and serve immediately.
