Slow Cooker Bean Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces bacon, cut into small pieces.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 1 cup onions, diced.
04 - 2 cups celery, diced.
05 - 2 cups baby carrots, sliced.
06 - 64 ounces chicken stock or broth.
07 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
09 - 1/8 teaspoon thyme.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
13 - 1 pound dried Great Northern Beans.

# Instructions:

01 - Crisp bacon pieces in skillet. Set aside.
02 - Add oil, vegetables, bacon, stock, seasonings, and beans to slow cooker.
03 - Cover and cook on high 5-6 hours until beans and vegetables are tender.
04 - Garnish with optional toppings like cheese, greens, onions, sour cream, or avocado.

# Notes:

01 - No need to pre-soak beans.
02 - Can cook on low 8-10 hours.
