Seafood Pasta with Shrimp and Scallops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound scallops.
02 - 1 spoon kosher salt plus more for brine.
03 - 12 oz pasta.
04 - 3 spoons olive oil.
05 - 12 large raw shrimp.
06 - 3 garlic cloves, minced.
07 - 1 spoon fresh parsley.
08 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
09 - 3 oz butter.
10 - ⅓ cup white wine.
11 - 4 lemon wedges.

# Instructions:

01 - Soak scallops 10 minutes in salt water. Drain and dry on rack.
02 - Boil pasta in salted water. Time it to finish with seafood.
03 - Heat oil in hot pan. Sear dry scallops 1½ minutes, add shrimp, garlic and parsley.
04 - Cook 2 minutes, flip, cook 1½ more minutes. Add wine and scrape pan.
05 - Lower heat. Add butter to melt. Season with pepper and salt if needed.
06 - Add drained pasta to pan with some pasta water. Mix gently and serve hot with lemon.

# Notes:

01 - Don't overcook seafood.
02 - Can use water instead of wine.
03 - Serve with crusty bread.
