Easy Sausage Pinwheel Appetizers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 24 ounces ground pork sausage
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
03 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder
04 - 2 teaspoons onion powder
05 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
06 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Assembly

09 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
10 - 1 large egg for egg wash

# Instructions:

01 - Brown and crumble sausage, drain fat. Mix in cream cheese and seasonings until melted.
02 - Roll out crescent dough into rectangles, smoothing perforations. Spread with sausage mixture.
03 - Roll dough into logs lengthwise. Wrap and chill 30 minutes.
04 - Slice logs into 1/2-inch pinwheels. Brush with egg wash, bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden.
