Russian Tea Cakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup softened unsalted butter.
02 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.
04 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
06 - 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts.
07 - Extra powdered sugar for rolling.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F and line cookie sheets with parchment.
02 - Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy, mix in flour and salt until combined.
03 - Stir in chopped nuts, chill if dough is too soft.
04 - Roll into 1 tablespoon balls and place on sheets.
05 - Cook 7-8 minutes until bottoms are light brown.
06 - Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, cool, then roll again.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute nuts for chocolate chips.
02 - Can add spices for variations.
03 - Keeps 4 days or can freeze.
