Whisk together all sauce ingredients in bowl.

Separate ham slices and place in large skillet. Pour sauce over.

Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer covered 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add cornstarch mixed with water. Stir until sauce thickens.

Put ham on buns with optional melted cheese.
