Pepper Steak with Bell Peppers and Onion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound flank steak, sliced.
02 - 2 spoons soy sauce for marinade.
03 - 1 spoon cornstarch for marinade.
04 - 2 spoons vegetable oil.
05 - 1 red bell pepper.
06 - 1 green bell pepper.
07 - 1 yellow bell pepper.
08 - 1 large onion.
09 - 3 garlic cloves.
10 - ¼ cup soy sauce for sauce.
11 - 2 spoons oyster sauce.
12 - 1 spoon cornstarch with water.
13 - ¼ cup beef broth.
14 - 1 teaspoon sugar.
15 - Salt and pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let sit 15 minutes.
02 - Heat oil and cook beef in batches 1-2 minutes per side.
03 - Stir-fry peppers and onion 3-4 minutes. Add garlic for 30 seconds.
04 - Return beef to pan. Add sauces, broth, sugar and cornstarch mix. Simmer until thick.
05 - Season with salt and pepper. Serve over rice.

# Notes:

01 - Partially freeze beef for easier slicing.
02 - Can add other vegetables.
03 - Add chilies for heat if desired.
