# Ingredients:

01 - 1 loaf French bread
02 - 8 eggs
03 - 2 cups half and half
04 - 1 cup whole milk
05 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
07 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/2 cup butter, softened
11 - 1 cup brown sugar
12 - 2 tablespoons corn syrup (optional)
13 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Butter or spray 9x13 baking dish
02 - Slice French bread into 1-inch slices
03 - Arrange bread slices overlapping in dish
04 - Whisk eggs in large bowl
05 - Add half-and-half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt
06 - Pour mixture over bread, ensuring all slices are covered
07 - Cover with foil, refrigerate overnight
08 - Next day, preheat oven to 350°F
09 - Flip bread pieces to ensure even coating
10 - Mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and cinnamon
11 - Spread evenly over bread slices
12 - Bake uncovered 35-40 minutes until puffed and golden

01 - Can be made same day - soak bread minimum 2-3 hours instead of overnight.
