Olive Garden Alfredo (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16 ounces fettuccine pasta.
02 - 6 tablespoons salted butter.
03 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic.
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
06 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 1/4 cups heavy cream.
08 - 1 1/2 cups whole milk.
09 - 1 cup shredded parmesan.
10 - Chopped fresh parsley.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook fettuccine according to package directions, drain and set aside.
02 - Melt butter and cook with garlic, garlic powder and salt.
03 - Whisk in flour, then slowly add cream and milk while stirring.
04 - Let sauce bubble then reduce heat and simmer 2-3 minutes.
05 - Whisk in parmesan until smooth.
06 - Toss with pasta and garnish with parsley.

# Notes:

01 - Let cheese come to room temp.
02 - Sauce thickens while standing.
03 - Heat dairy well before adding cheese.
