No-Boil Cheesy Baked Penne (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
02 - 4 cups penne, uncooked
03 - 3 cups pasta sauce
04 - 3 cups water
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
07 - ½ tsp garlic powder
08 - ½ tsp dried minced onion
09 - ½ tsp salt
10 - ¼ tsp black pepper
11 - 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
12 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
13 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
14 - chopped fresh basil for garnish, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with extra virgin olive oil.
02 - Add the uncooked penne, pasta sauce, water, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, dried minced onion, salt, and pepper to a large bowl. Stir together to combine.
03 - Add the mixture to the 9x13-inch baking dish. Tightly cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. If the pasta is still too firm, add another 5 to 10 minutes.
04 - Remove the aluminum foil and stir in the ricotta cheese. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
05 - Bake, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
