Easy Chocolate Creme Brulee (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Granulated sugar
02 - Salt
03 - Unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - Cornstarch
05 - Whole milk

→ Flavoring

06 - Vanilla bean paste or extract
07 - Semi-sweet baking chocolate

→ Topping

08 - Granulated sugar for brulee

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk sugar, salt, cocoa, cornstarch with milk until thickened
02 - Stir in vanilla and chocolate until smooth
03 - Pour into ramekins, cool to room temp, chill 4 hours
04 - Use torch, stovetop sugar, or broiler method just before serving

# Notes:

01 - Make up to 48 hours ahead
02 - Can use heavy cream for thicker custard
03 - Add topping just before serving
