Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in bowl.

Work in butter until crumbly. Add sugar, vanilla, water. Mix until dough forms.

Knead dough 5-6 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest 15 minutes.

Divide into 15 balls. Roll each into 6-7 inch circles.

Cook disks on hot skillet about 10 seconds per side.

Fry in 350°F oil until golden, pressing centers to keep flat.

Drain on paper towels. Coat with cinnamon sugar while warm.
