Warm maple syrup, vanilla and salt in skillet for 1 minute.

Stir in nuts to coat with syrup mixture.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and stir to coat evenly.

Stir constantly 5-7 minutes until syrup is absorbed.

Spread on parchment to cool, optionally sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Break apart cooled nuts and store.
