Honey Garlic Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken thighs.
02 - 1 teaspoon cayenne.
03 - ½ teaspoon black pepper.
04 - ½ teaspoon salt.
05 - 2 teaspoons lemon juice.
06 - 1 spoon olive oil.
07 - 4 garlic cloves.
08 - ½ cup chicken stock.
09 - 2 teaspoons honey.
10 - ½ teaspoon paprika.
11 - 2 teaspoons lemon zest.
12 - 4 thyme sprigs.
13 - 4 lemon slices.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix chicken with cayenne, pepper, salt and lemon juice. Pierce with fork and marinate 1 hour to overnight.
02 - Heat oil and sear chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove from pan.
03 - Sauté garlic in same pan. Mix stock, honey, spices, lemon juice and zest, then add to pan.
04 - Return chicken to pan, cover and cook 15-20 minutes, flipping once.
05 - Add thyme and lemon slices. Simmer 5 minutes more.
06 - Plate chicken with sauce, garnish with lemons and thyme.

# Notes:

01 - Bone-in thighs work best.
02 - Let chicken come to room temp.
03 - Cook to 165°F internal temp.
