Homemade Mozzarella Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 mozzarella cheese sticks.
02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
03 - 2 large eggs.
04 - 2 tablespoons water.
05 - 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs.
06 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional).
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
11 - Vegetable oil for frying.
12 - Marinara sauce for dipping.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut mozzarella sticks in half if desired.
02 - Set up three bowls: Bowl 1: flour, Bowl 2: eggs beaten with water, Bowl 3: breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and seasonings.
03 - Dredge each stick in flour.
04 - Dip in egg wash.
05 - Coat in breadcrumb mixture.
06 - Repeat coating for extra crunch.
07 - Place on baking sheet and freeze for a minimum of 1 hour.
08 - Heat oil to 350°F.
09 - Fry in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden.
10 - Serve hot with marinara sauce.
