Sweet Hawaiian Roll French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pack (12 count) King's Hawaiian Rolls
02 - 3 large eggs
03 - 3/4 cup half and half or whole milk
04 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
07 - Pinch of salt
08 - 4 tablespoons butter for cooking

→ Toppings

09 - Powdered sugar
10 - Fresh fruit
11 - Maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk eggs and half and half, then mix in vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
02 - Poke several holes in bottom of each roll with toothpick.
03 - Dip rolls in custard mixture for 30 seconds each, turning to coat all sides.
04 - Brown rolls in melted butter over medium-low heat, 30-60 seconds per side until crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Don't oversoak rolls or they'll be soggy
02 - Turn carefully while cooking
03 - Serve warm with toppings
