Grinch Cake Pops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box red velvet cake mix plus ingredients.
02 - 4 ounces softened cream cheese.
03 - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar.
04 - Pinch salt.
05 - 24 ounces light green candy melts.
06 - 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening.
07 - Cake pop sticks.
08 - Red candy hearts.

# Instructions:

01 - Bake red velvet cake according to box and cool completely.
02 - Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and salt until smooth.
03 - Crumble cake, mix with frosting, roll into balls and chill.
04 - Melt candy melts with shortening in microwave.
05 - Dip sticks in coating, insert in balls, freeze to set.
06 - Coat each pop in melted candy and let set upright.
07 - Add optional stripes or hearts once coating starts to set.

01 - Add frosting gradually.
02 - Work in small batches.
03 - Can add ribbon decorations.
