Grandma's Banana Nut Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda.
03 - Pinch salt.
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
05 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
06 - 2 eggs.
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
08 - 4 medium ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/3 cups).
09 - 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - Grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans.
03 - Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
04 - In separate bowl, whisk sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
05 - Stir in mashed bananas.
06 - Add flour mixture, stir until blended.
07 - Fold in walnuts.
08 - Divide batter between pans.
09 - Bake 35-45 minutes until done.
10 - Cool in pans 10 minutes.
11 - Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
02 - Can substitute other nuts or add chocolate chips.
03 - Makes great muffins too.
