Quick Homemade Salisbury Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Patties

01 - Lean ground beef
02 - Finely chopped onion
03 - Crushed saltine or Ritz crackers
04 - Fresh egg
05 - Ground sage
06 - Salt and pepper

→ Gravy

07 - Olive oil for cooking
08 - Minced garlic
09 - Worcestershire sauce
10 - All-purpose flour
11 - Beef stock
12 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Mix beef, egg, onion, crackers, sage, salt and pepper. Form into 4 oval patties
02 - Cook patties in oil over medium-high heat, 4-5 minutes per side. Set aside
03 - Cook garlic in oil, add Worcestershire and flour. Whisk in beef stock
04 - Season gravy, scrape pan bits, cook until thickened
05 - Return patties to pan, cook through in gravy

# Notes:

01 - Works with ground turkey too
02 - Freezes well up to 3 months
03 - Any crackers can replace Ritz or Saltines
