Easy Homemade Divinity Candy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 egg whites, room temp.
02 - 2¼ cups sugar.
03 - ½ cup water.
04 - ½ cup corn syrup.
05 - ⅛ teaspoon salt.
06 - ½ cup chopped pecans.
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.

# Instructions:

01 - Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Heat sugar, water, corn syrup and salt to 260°F, stirring sometimes.
03 - While syrup cooks, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
04 - Slowly pour hot syrup into egg whites while beating on high speed.
05 - Keep beating 6-10 minutes until mixture loses shine and holds shape. Add nuts and vanilla.
06 - Drop spoonfuls onto paper using buttered spoons. Make decorative swirls on top.
07 - Let dry at room temperature until firm, may take overnight.
