Heat sugar, water, corn syrup and salt to 260°F, stirring sometimes.

While syrup cooks, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Slowly pour hot syrup into egg whites while beating on high speed.

Keep beating 6-10 minutes until mixture loses shine and holds shape. Add nuts and vanilla.

Drop spoonfuls onto paper using buttered spoons. Make decorative swirls on top.

Let dry at room temperature until firm, may take overnight.
