Add flour mixture to butter mixture and beat until combined.

Divide dough in two, form into discs, wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 2 hours or up to 1 day.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Roll dough 1/4-inch thick on powdered sugar-dusted surface. Cut shapes and transfer to baking sheets.

For re-rolled dough, freeze cut shapes 5-10 minutes before baking to ensure cold dough.
