Creamy Tuscan Orzo Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 1/2 medium onion, chopped
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Pasta & Liquids

06 - 1 cup uncooked orzo pasta
07 - 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
08 - 1 cup heavy cream

→ Additions

09 - 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
10 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
11 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
12 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
13 - 2 cups fresh baby spinach
14 - 1/4 cup fresh basil, torn
15 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté onion in oil and butter 3-4 minutes. Add garlic, seasonings, tomatoes, lemon juice, mustard, and orzo.
02 - Add broth and cream. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring often, until orzo is cooked.
03 - Remove from heat. Stir in parmesan, spinach, and basil. Cover until thickened.
