Easy Creamy Marsala Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
04 - 1/2 medium onion, chopped
05 - 1 clove garlic, minced

→ Sauce

06 - 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
07 - 1/3 cup marsala wine
08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook mushrooms and onions in oil and butter until well seared, 10-12 minutes.
02 - Add garlic and mustard, cook 30 seconds.
03 - Pour in marsala, let bubble 30-60 seconds.
04 - Add cream and cornstarch slurry. Cook 5 minutes until thickened. Season and garnish.

01 - Use semi-sweet or dry marsala wine
02 - Great on chicken, steak or pork
03 - Serve immediately
