Mexican Style Tortilla Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Soup Base

01 - Vegetable oil
02 - Diced onion
03 - Fresh poblano pepper
04 - Red bell pepper
05 - Minced garlic

→ Seasonings

06 - Chili powder
07 - Ground cumin
08 - Dried oregano

→ Main Components

09 - Chicken stock
10 - Canned diced tomatoes
11 - Chicken thighs
12 - Heavy cream

→ Finishing

13 - Fresh lime juice
14 - Fresh cilantro

→ Tortilla Strips

15 - Corn tortillas
16 - Oil for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Cook onion and peppers in oil until tender, add garlic and spices
02 - Add stock, tomatoes, chicken. Simmer 20 minutes
03 - Remove chicken, shred with forks
04 - Fry tortilla strips until golden. Drain on paper towels
05 - Return chicken to pot. Add cream, lime juice, cilantro
