Key Lime Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 graham crackers (full sheets).
02 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar.
03 - 6-7 tablespoons butter.
04 - 2 cans (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk.
05 - 2 large egg yolks.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
07 - 2 teaspoons key lime zest (optional).
08 - 3/4 cup key lime juice.
09 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
10 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - Crush graham crackers in food processor.
03 - Add sugar and melted butter to crumbs.
04 - Press into 9-inch pie dish.
05 - Bake crust 8-10 minutes until golden.
06 - Whisk filling ingredients until thick.
07 - Pour into hot crust.
08 - Bake 10-12 minutes until filling sets.
09 - Cool completely.
10 - Refrigerate 3 hours.
11 - Whip cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks.
12 - Top pie with whipped cream before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Can be made as bars in square pan with half the filling.
02 - Each key lime yields 2-3 teaspoons juice.
