Crush Oreos in food processor until fine. Mix with melted butter in 9-inch deep-dish pie plate and press into bottom and sides. Refrigerate.

Heat milk and chocolate chips in saucepan over high heat, stirring until chocolate melts (1-2 minutes).

Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale yellow. Add cornstarch, salt, and vanilla.

Slowly pour warm chocolate mixture into egg mixture while whisking. Return to saucepan.

Heat over medium-high until boiling, whisking constantly until thick. Remove from heat and whisk 1-2 minutes until smooth.

Pour pudding into crust, cover with plastic wrap pressed onto surface. Cool to room temp, then refrigerate 4+ hours.

Beat heavy cream until thick, add sugar and vanilla. Beat to medium-stiff peaks. Spread over pie.

Use vegetable peeler to create chocolate shavings over top of pie.
