Sprinkle chocolate cake mix evenly in dish, followed by chocolate pudding mix.

Add milk to cooled melted butter to prevent curdling.

Pour milk/butter mixture on top of dry ingredients.

Use whisk to mix slightly - just enough to incorporate for even baking.

Sprinkle entire bag of chocolate chips across top.
