Creamy Chicken Riesling (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Bacon

01 - 5-6 strips bacon, cut into pieces
02 - 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - Salt and pepper to taste
05 - Flour for dredging

→ Sauce

06 - 2 tablespoons butter
07 - 7 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
08 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 1/2 cup Riesling wine
11 - 3/4 cup heavy cream

→ Pasta (Optional)

12 - 8 ounces spaghetti
13 - 2 tablespoons butter
14 - 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan

# Instructions:

01 - Fry bacon until crispy. Remove bacon, leave 2-3 tablespoons fat in pan.
02 - Season and flour chicken. Cook in bacon fat 4-5 minutes per side until golden.
03 - Cook mushrooms in butter. Add garlic, wine, and cream. Simmer until thickened.
04 - Return chicken and bacon to pan. Cook 5 minutes until chicken is done. Serve with optional pasta.

01 - Can be served with or without pasta
02 - Go easy on salt due to bacon
03 - Time pasta to finish with chicken
