Cherry Cheesecake Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup butter, melted and cooled.
02 - 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar.
03 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
04 - 4 eggs.
05 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
06 - 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt (for unsalted butter).
09 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
10 - 1 egg (for filling).
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling).
12 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for filling).
13 - 1/2 can cherry pie filling.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9x13 pan with parchment and spray with cooking spray.
02 - Whisk butter and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla, then eggs one at a time. Fold in dry ingredients.
03 - Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
04 - Spread 2/3 brownie batter in pan. Add cream cheese mixture, then cherry filling. Top with remaining brownie batter.
05 - Bake 30-35 minutes until center jiggles slightly. Cool to room temperature, then chill 1-2 hours before cutting.
