Cheesy Meatloaf Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef.
02 - 3 cups mashed potatoes.
03 - 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese.
04 - ⅓ cup crumbled bacon.
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
06 - ½ cup chopped white onion.
07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced.
08 - 1 large egg.
09 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
10 - 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs.
11 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F.
02 - Mix in large bowl: ground beef, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs.
03 - Press meat mixture into 8-inch baking pan.
04 - Spread mashed potatoes, sprinkle cheese, and add bacon crumbles.
05 - Cover with foil, bake for 30 minutes.
06 - Remove foil, bake 10 more minutes until cheese bubbles.

# Notes:

01 - Can prepare ahead and refrigerate.
02 - Keeps for 3 days in fridge.
03 - Can use leftover mashed potatoes.
04 - Let rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
