Classic Funeral Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Potato Mixture

01 - 32 ounces frozen southern hash browns, thawed
02 - 16 ounces sour cream
03 - 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
04 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
06 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
07 - 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese

→ Topping

08 - 3 cups cornflakes, finely crushed
09 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Ensure potatoes are fully thawed. Grease 9x13 baking dish.
02 - Combine potatoes, sour cream, soup, butter, seasonings and cheese. Spread in dish.
03 - Mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter until coated. Sprinkle over potatoes.
04 - Cook 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

01 - Can use different cheese varieties
02 - Fresh potatoes can substitute for frozen
03 - Crush cornflakes finely for best topping
