Cheddar Bay Beef Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1½ pounds lean ground beef.
02 - 1 yellow onion, diced.
03 - 1 tablespoon garlic.
04 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cheddar soup.
05 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup.
06 - ½ cup milk.
07 - ½ teaspoon salt.
08 - ½ teaspoon pepper.
09 - 2 cups cheddar cheese.
10 - 1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix.
11 - 1 cup cheddar cheese.
12 - 2 cups milk.
13 - ¼ cup butter, melted.
14 - Parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F.
02 - Brown ground beef and onions in large skillet. Add garlic near end of cooking.
03 - Mix in both soups, milk, salt, pepper, and 1 cup cheese with beef.
04 - Pour mixture into 9x13 baking dish. Top with remaining cup of cheese.
05 - Mix biscuit mix with cheese and milk until combined.
06 - Pour biscuit mixture evenly over beef layer.
07 - Bake 50-55 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
08 - Brush hot biscuit top with melted butter mixture.
09 - Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Let rest to allow sauce to thicken.
02 - Can prepare beef mixture ahead of time.
03 - Add biscuit topping just before baking.
04 - Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 3 days.
