Place carrots in large pan, cover with water by 1 inch. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 8-10 minutes until crisp-tender.

Drain carrots and set aside.

In same pan, melt butter with brown sugar, salt, and pepper over medium heat.

Return carrots to pan, cook and stir 5 minutes until well glazed.

Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
