Candied Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds carrots, sliced.
02 - 1/4 cup butter.
03 - 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
05 - 1/8 teaspoon white pepper.
06 - Fresh parsley, minced, for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Place carrots in large pan, cover with water by 1 inch. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 8-10 minutes until crisp-tender.
02 - Drain carrots and set aside.
03 - In same pan, melt butter with brown sugar, salt, and pepper over medium heat.
04 - Return carrots to pan, cook and stir 5 minutes until well glazed.
05 - Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
