Cheesy Brussels Sprouts Gratin (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons butter

→ Cheese & Cream

04 - 1 cup freshly grated Gruyère cheese
05 - 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 large clove garlic, minced
07 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Trim and halve sprouts, grate cheeses. Heat oven to 400°F.
02 - Sauté sprouts in oil and butter for 8 minutes until browned.
03 - Remove from heat. Stir in garlic, cream, and half the Gruyère.
04 - Top with remaining cheeses. Roast 15-20 minutes until tender and bubbly.

# Notes:

01 - Can broil briefly for extra browning
02 - Serve immediately while cheese is melted
03 - Works in baking dish if no oven-proof skillet
