# Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar.
02 - 1/4 cup brown butter (from step 2).
03 - 2 overripe bananas, mashed.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
07 - 1/2 cup milk.
08 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
09 - 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed.
10 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour.
11 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
12 - 1/4 cup brown butter (from step 2).
13 - 1 cup pecans or walnuts, optional.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch square pan or 10-inch pie plate.
02 - Cook 1/2 cup butter over low heat, stirring until golden brown. Set aside for cake and streusel.
03 - Mix sugar, 1/4 cup brown butter, egg, baking powder, salt, and bananas. Stir in flour and milk.
04 - Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, remaining brown butter, and optional nuts.
05 - Pour batter in pan, top with streusel. Bake 30-40 minutes depending on pan.
