Place eggs in a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil over medium heat, cover, and remove from heat for 12 minutes.

Transfer the boiled eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes.

Peel and halve cooled eggs lengthwise. Scoop yolks into a bowl and mix with mashed avocado, lemon juice, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
