Mini Apple Pie Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 21 ounces apple pie filling.
02 - 2 rolls refrigerated pie crust.
03 - 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce.
04 - 1 beaten egg.
05 - 1 teaspoon water.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
07 - 1/4 cup sugar.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F and chop apple filling into small pieces.
02 - Roll out first crust and spread with caramel sauce and chopped filling.
03 - Cut second crust into strips and make lattice top.
04 - Cut into circles with cutter, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
05 - Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Can use simple top crust instead of lattice.
02 - Leftovers can make mini pie.
03 - Drizzle extra caramel before serving.
