Sweet Apple Cinnamon Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 2/3 cup granulated sugar
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
05 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
07 - 1/2 cup milk

→ Filling

08 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
09 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
10 - 1 large apple, peeled and finely chopped

→ Icing

11 - 1 cup powdered sugar
12 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
13 - 2 tablespoons milk

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9x5 loaf pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.
02 - Beat sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, then milk.
03 - Pour half batter in pan, top with half apples and cinnamon sugar. Repeat layers.
04 - Pat topping into batter. Bake 50 minutes until done. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
05 - Whisk icing ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
