09 - 1 teaspoon olive oil or canola oil
10 - 10 to 14 slices sandwich bread
11 - 28 grams butter, softened (approximately 2 tablespoons)

# Instructions:

01 - If using large curd cottage cheese, blend until mostly smooth for a creamier texture.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine cottage or ricotta cheese with olive oil. Add minced garlic, basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing thoroughly. Fold in shredded mozzarella to create a uniform filling.
03 - Evenly spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
04 - Place half of the bread slices, buttered side down, on a skillet or griddle. Divide cheese mixture evenly among these slices, ensuring an even layer. Top with remaining bread, buttered side up.
05 - Cook over medium heat until the underside is golden brown. Flip each sandwich and continue to cook until both sides are golden and cheese filling is fully melted.
