Perfect Rice Krispie Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 6 tablespoons salted butter
02 - 16 ounces mini marshmallows, divided
03 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
04 - 6 cups rice krispies cereal

# Instructions:

01 - Line 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
02 - Melt butter, add all but 1 cup marshmallows. Stir until melted over low heat.
03 - Remove from heat, add vanilla. Stir in cereal and remaining marshmallows.
04 - Press gently into pan with wet fingers. Let set 1 hour before cutting.

01 - Use fresh marshmallows for best results
02 - Press gently to keep treats soft
03 - Can be made gluten-free with right cereal
